Ruth Lane is Founder and President/CEO of AllOut Marketing, Inc., a successful strategic marketing and communication services firm specializing in identifying and creating markets for the medical industry. AllOut Marketing offers a comprehensive portfolio of services including marketing consulting, graphic design, web development, public relations, event management and market research. As President of AllOut Marketing, Lane has served the lifescience industry for over a decade and has over 30 years experience in the medical technology sector. Lane drives marketing strategies and communications for clients such as, BioDiagnostics Inc., DiaSorin Inc., Lechnologies Research Inc., Novartis, P3 Scientific, Possis Medical, Tactile Systems, and The BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota. She has also directed marketing initiatives for Fortune 500 companies such as American Standard, Centocor, Medtronic, and Roche Diagnostics.
Lane has an extensive background in executive management, product development, sales, marketing, and business development. Prior to AllOut Marketing, Inc., Ms. Lane was a successful global marketing business leader for companies such as SmithKline Beecham and Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur.
Professional/Civic Involvement and Awards
Ruth Lane serves on the board of P3 Scientific, is a board member and on the executive committee of LifeScience Alley. Lane also serves on the board of the CEO Roundtable of MN and was the first woman Chair of the Board for that organization. In addition she is a member of the Health Care Advisory Committee for Jim Ramstad. In 2004, Lane was awarded the prestigious national award, Women of Faith in Science by the Presbyterian Church (USA). Also in 2004, Lane was invited to Paris, France, as a US delegate to the inauguration of the first Franco-American Entrepreneur’s Forum held by the French Senate and the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration.
From 1999 to 2003, Ms. Lane was featured monthly in The Business Journal’s-Ventures Workshop Panel. Lane received the Twin Cities Women of Innovation in Leadership Award in 2000, and was recognized as one of three Twin West Entrepreneurs of the Year in 1998.
Education
Ruth Lane has a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from the University of Georgia and a bachelor of science degree in medical technology from Georgia State University.
