Professional Experience
Alicia Lane-Outlaw is the Chief Creative Officer at AllOut Marketing. Lane-Outlaw began her medical graphics career at the University of Washington where she created 3-D illustrations and enhanced images for pioneering multimedia medical tutorials. Lane-Outlaw then came to the University of Minnesota’s Biomedical Graphic Communications Department, where she excelled in computer graphic design, medical information design, and multimedia authoring.
At AllOut Marketing, Lane-Outlaw leads the design of innovative medical identities in both print and web. Her extensive technical and marketing knowledge in web development guides clients in reaching their target audience and connecting with their online prospects. Site visitors benefit from the highly targeted, fast-loading websites made possible by Lane-Outlaw’s diverse skills in web design, project management, standards-compliant coding, search engine optimization, and internet marketing.
In print, Lane-Outlaw’s eye for detail helps ensure that stringent standards for technical accuracy are met, while information is conveyed in an effective and appealing way. Her creative direction results in innovative advertising campaigns, eye-catching medical graphics, and impressive scientific print materials.
Professional/Civic Involvement
Lane-Outlaw serves on the board for Minnesota Association of Deaf Citizens.
Lane-Outlaw is also the team leader for TCDeaf.com, which publishes weekly news and events for the Twin Cities signing community. Lane-Outlaw manages volunteers who make weekly updates to the website, handles customer relations, acts as a liaison between the website and its sponsor, and is responsible for strategic development.
Education
Alicia Lane-Outlaw has a bachelor of science degree in biology with a visual arts minor from Lenoir-Rhyne College in North Carolina.
