Karen Steinhilber has extensive experience writing technical communications and developing medical product training programs. Her career began at Chronimed, Inc. and includes serving as Global Education Curriculum Manager for a referral sales force at Medtronic, Inc. Steinhilber’s medical writing spans many diverse topics with highlights including arrhythmia mapping, acute coronary syndromes, thrombolytics, pharmacologic therapy for hypertension, cardiopulmonary bypass and beating heart surgeries, vascular disorders, chronic pain management, chemotherapy, stem cell transplantation for acute myelogenous leukemia, severe sepsis, neurostimulation, and movement disorders. In addition, she has designed and developed multiple types of training programs for sales teams, managers, and consumers.

Education
Karen Steinhilber has a bachelor of arts degree in english and philosophy from Wartburg College in Iowa and a master of liberal studies degree with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction for adult education in healthcare from the University of Minnesota. She has also been admitted into the University of Chicago Medical Writing and Editing Certification Program.
