Janet L. Scott is a technical writer and instructional designer at AllOut Marketing. Scott has extensive experience designing and writing both workshop and web-based training programs for the medical and pharmaceutical industries. She has created all types of medical materials, including facilitator guides, participant materials, e-learning courses, user manuals and marketing materials. Examples of her work include Clinical Research Frameworks (e-learning series of courses), Implementing Good Clinical Practices (CD-ROM), Clinical Research Education System (self-study text; workshop) and Nutritional Assessment of the Hospitalized Patient: A Team Approach (nutrition monograph). Scott has worked with Bristol-Myers Squibb, DiaSorin, Eisai, Inc., Johnson & Johnson/Janssen Research Foundation, Novartis, Pharmacia & Upjohn, Pfizer, Inc., Scirex and Zeneca, among others. Three of her development efforts have won awards from the Society for Technical Communication.

Scott’s award-winning capacity to develop targeted instructional design and copy, and extensive writing experience in the pharmaceutical and medical technology industry make her an important team member at AllOut Marketing.

She has a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Minnesota with a focus on composition.
